Background[]
Born in a small fishing village, Apprentice Cleric grew up alongside Rookie Warrior where she studied to become a Cleric at the Temple of the Supreme God. Eventually, depending on who tells the story, Apprentice Cleric left the village to become an Adventurer with her childhood friend, Rookie Warrior, forming their team. They signed up in the Spring during open enrollment, the same Spring Priestess joined the Guild. However, unlike many new rookies, Apprentice Cleric and Rookie Warrior decided it was far safer and more cost-effective to start their career slow and went to the sewers to clear out the giant rats.
At some point during the aftermath of their many clean-ups from trekking in the sewers, Rookie Warrior accidentally walked into Apprentice Cleric changing and saw her nude, but he managed not to get caught.
Goblin Slayer Volume 1[]
Start slow and steady
Apprentice Cleric and Apprentice Cleric approached Priestess and asked her to leave Goblin Slayer to join their party, only to be dissuaded from their attempts by Witch. They admit there is no malice in their request; they had just heard a number of negative rumors about Goblin Slayer and offered to help Priestess; later they learned they were mistaken.
Hearing that the guild had been convinced to aid Cow Girl and her farm, Rookie Warrior decided that this was the time to hunt Goblins despite Apprentice Cleric's reservations. Rookie Warrior argued to her that the sheer amount of skilled backup would be worth the risk, winning her over as long as he agreed to stay on the guard for the back row. During the Defense of the Farm, a Goblin Champion threw the mangled body of an Adventurer in her direction causing her to throw up. With their victory, she celebrated with Rookie Warrior, Druid Girl, and Scout Boy and chided Rookie Warrior for accidentally getting drunk by Dwarf Shaman and his fire wine.
Goblin Slayer Volume 3[]
In preparation for the Harvest Festival, Apprentice Cleric was embarrassed when Rookie Warrior teased her that he was really looking forward to seeing her ceremonial garbs.
During the festival, Rookie Warrior and Scout Boy tried many of the carnival games to win prizes for Apprentice Cleric and Druid Girl, but their losses caused the girls to playfully tease them. Goblin Slayer showed up with Cow Girl and showed the two how to play the games and won prizes for her and Druid Girl. Whether she took part in the ceremonial dance with Priestess, is unknown, but given Rookie Warrior's earlier comments, she apparently did.
Goblin Slayer Volume 4[]
Quest Failed
Apprentice Cleric and Rookie Warrior were in the sewers clearing out Giant Rats and giant roaches that had infested them. Apprentice Cleric stumbled upon the remains of another porcelain-ranked adventurer and took their tag to bring back to the guild. Unfortunately, Rookie Warrior's sword was stuck in a rat they had just killed and both of them are forced to retreat when a wave of giant roaches approach them.
The following day, she and Rookie Warrior asked Spearman and Witch for a spare weapon; they did not have one to spare, but Witch handed them a magic candle that would light up the closer they got to the sword. They then went to Goblin Slayer for help, and he suggested using a club.
Why did it have to be bugs?
Venturing back into the sewers, they discovered using the candle that the sword was inside a giant roach. Unable to escape, Rookie Warrior grabbed a lantern off of Apprentice Cleric's belt and threw it on the ground to create a massive wall of fire in front of it. Prompted by her partner, Apprentice Cleric used Holy Smite to wound the roach, allowing Rookie Warrior to club it to death, cut open its remains, and retrieve his weapon. That evening, they reflected on the day's adventure and realized they still had a long way to go.[1]

Having survived their first year as Adventurers, Apprentice Cleric celebrates the coming of the New Year with Rookie Warrior in the Guild among her friends.

When Wizard Boy started to insult Priests as a whole, Apprentice Cleric lost it and needed Rookie Warrior to hold her back from killing him.
Apprentice Cleric learns the slings with Druid Girl
At the newly constructed Training Grounds, Apprentice Cleric, alongside Druid Girl, was taught and trained to use a shepherd's sling by Goblin Slayer in the adventurer's training grounds.[2]. While resting with Rookie Warrior, the two chastise Wizard Boy for being a "know nothing Know-it-all" while defending their choice to stick to hunting giant rats instead of doing more (start small and gain experience before moving to bigger things) until Priestess arrives and feeds them with sandwiches made by Cow Girl. During the meal, Apprentice Cleric Rookie Warrior got into an argument about "who followed who" when they left home, earning the two a comment from Priestess about how close the two are much to her embarrassment.
When Goblins attacked the training grounds, Apprentice Cleric, Rookie Warrior, Wizard Boy, and Rhea Fighter were led by Priestess to rescue the young adventurers.[3]

Time to get Married!
Apprentice Cleric is taken aback and shares a glance at Rookie Warrior when High Elf Archer loudly announces "It's time to get married!"

By the time Priestess returned from the Capital, she spied Rookie Warrior and Apprentice Cleric celebrating something she wasn't aware of. Later she discovered the two were on the cusp of finally being promoted.

Rookie Duo meets Harefolk Hunter
During the particularly long and harsh winter, Apprentice Cleric and Rookie Warrior had accrued enough experience points to finally level up to Obsidian rank, but before they could, Apprentice Cleric received a mission from the Supreme God to ascend the Northern Mountains. Knowing the two were horribly outmatched, they asked Priestess for help and she convinced the rest of the Goblin Slayer party (minus Goblin Slayer who was out on an errand) to help the Duo. On the way up the mountain, Rookie Warrior tried to convince Apprentice Cleric that their recent promotion was a perfect time to increase the size of their party, she, however, made it clear in a small jealous fit that she was not talking about that now asking if she "wasn't enough for him". It was then Harefolk Hunter appeared and led the party to her village.
At the village, Harefolk Hunter's family told the party that their village was under siege from Sasquatches led by the Ice Witch, all the while Rookie Warrior was stuffing his face with the Harefolk's limited food until Apprentice Cleric made him realize what he was doing. During an attack from the Sasquatches, Priestess used deception to trick them and Apprentice Cleric asked if it was all right for her fellow Cleric to resort to such amoral tricks, but Priestess taught her that she never lied throughout the contest much to Apprentice Cleric's exasperation.
Rookie Duo do what they do best
During the raid against the Ice Witch, Apprentice Cleric joins Rookie Warrior in battle against the Ice Witch's summoned army of giant rats; the irony of which was not lost on Apprentice Cleric. Later, she would aid Harefolk Hunter, Apprentice Cleric, and Priestess in finally putting the Ice Witch down by using her Holy Smite on the silver arrow mortally wounding her. Their victory and mission from the Supreme God were achieved, and worn out, Rookie Warrior carried the "Drums of Winter" to the Harefolk Village for her while Priestess and her party raced to aid Goblin Slayer.
On the way back to the village, Apprentice Cleric was shocked to see Wizard Boy and Rhea Fighter escorting the Hero, Sword Saint, and Sage up the mountain to handle the Ice Witch only to reveal they already took care of it, impressing Hero. Apprentice Cleric's newfound pride only turned to horror as Hero approved of Rookie Warrior growing his "harem team" with Harefolk Hunter.
Goblin Slayer Volume 10[]
During the Spring, Apprentice Cleric and Rookie Warrior had added Harefolk Hunter into their party and worked together with the veterans to help Priestess's friend Sister Grape and the Temple of the Earth Mother in her moment of crisis. When it was clear that the Forces of Chaos were targeting the Temple of the Earth Mother, Apprentice Cleric and her team went to the Temple's defense. During the battle, she aided Rookie Warrior as he backed up Axe Warrior.
During the Festival, Apprentice Cleric (now titled "Supreme God's Cleric") joined the other girls in stomping the grapes at the Earth Mother's Temple as Rookie Warrior (now titled "Club Fighter") watched her to her embarrassment and hung out with Harefolk Hunter as her shedding her Winter coat made it impossible to join in stomping the grapes.
Goblin Slayer Volume 11[]
At the Guild, Club Fighter, Supreme God’s Cleric, and Harefolk Hunter return from their first Goblin Hunt victorious but very dirty, much to Goblin Slayer’s approval. Scout Boy and Druid Girl prepare to celebrate with them as Supreme God's Cleric admits she still needs to refine his technique with her sling which Goblin Slayer sees as a good planning on her part.
Goblin Slayer Volume 12[]
Supreme God's Cleric and her party had succeeded in taking out a small goblin nest for a small village, but their joy was cut short as a wyvern ambushed them, causing them to jump into the river to safety. During the escape, Club Fighter was knocked out, and Supreme God's Cleric was forced to undress him out of his wet and cold clothes as Harefolk Hunter set up an emergency camp in a cave. Supreme God's Cleric had a bit of a meltdown for being useless as a cleric for the group for having only one miracle (and was jealous thinking Club Fighter was staring at the naked Harefolk Hunter) until Club Fighter reassured her that Harefolk Hunter and especially himself cared very much for her and found her very useful for the party reaffirming her resolve.
Club Fighter and his Party escape the Wyvern
As the three tried to warm up and took note of the wyvern still waiting for them to leave the cave, Supreme God's Cleric took note of their remaining supplies, and lamented that the expensive potions were lost to the river. However, with a plan formed, that would have Club Fighter throw their tent, covered in broken glass shards wolves-bane, and other minor poisons, at the wyvern's face, the trio irritated the wyvern enough to give them time to flee to safety.
Goblin Slayer Volume 13[]
As Goblin Slayer and Guild Girl were making their Practice Dungeon, Supreme God's Cleric reminded Club Fighter that they weren't exactly rookies anymore so the novelty of them trying the Dungeon would be a waste. Supreme God's Cleric and Club Fighter tried to decide how they should spend the coming winter, Cleric wanting to play it safe and agreeing with Club Fighter they should probably try a Monster Slaying Quest before shifting over to other types of Quests.
Goblin Slayer Volume 14[]
As Priestess prepared to journey North, Supreme God's Cleric ran into her and expressed good-natured envy at how well Priestess was flying through the ranks as Harefolk Hunter requested Priestess drop off a Troll Fang that they slayed to her village.
Goblin Slayer Volume 15[]
Changeling agrees to help out Supreme God's Cleric
Having been hired as temporary security for a casino called "The Mermaid", which was actually a front for the Rogues Guild, Supreme God's Cleric had forced Club Fighter to work out back, so he wouldn't see her in the "Harefolk Girl" uniform out of embarrassment. She was later asked to keep an eye on a VIP's guest only to panic when she saw said guest was her friend, Priestess. Mortified, Cleric begged Changeling to swap out with her, so Priestess wouldn't see her in such a uniform, who agreed to cover for her.
Goblin Slayer Volume 16[]
As Goblin Slayer battled a Vampire Lord, he wished aloud that he had Supreme God's Cleric and her Party with him.
