Blobs are man-eating types of slime that inhabit the underground.
Overview[]
Blobs tend to lie in wait from the ceiling to drop down onto a victim, dissolving them with the scalding acid that makes up their body. This is their main method of attack due to them being otherwise slow creatures. Blobs are seen living symbiotically with a rock eater, in its burrows, in hope of devouring unsuspecting miners who might accidentally mine into said burrow. [1] Despite having no solid form and seemingly no vital areas, weapon strikes seem to be effective at dispatching them.
Appearance[]
Blobs are shown to appear as a black viscous tar-like liquid. Their bodies are made up of a thin carapace that holds a liquid inside.[2]
Abilities[]

- Multiplication: Blobs are able to multiply themselves near instantaneously.[3]
- Acid: Blobs are composed of an acid that can very quickly melt through metal and flesh. Coming in full contact with one can be fatal.
