Full Summary[]

Returning from their previous encounter with the goblins, Priestess takes a bath in the Temple of Law and ponders about her first encounter with Goblin Slayer. She dreams about the moment when her first party was wiped out, and if she could have helped her first party succeed, would she have met her new friends. While pondering about her current situation, When Sword Maiden joins her, Priestess notices the scars on Sword Maiden's body; the archbishop explains that she received them during her early days of adventuring. Sword Maiden proceeds to tell Priestess that one day, Goblin Slayer will inevitably disappear like all things; it is then that Priestess realizes that Sword Maiden knows about the goblins.

When the group is back in the sewers, High Elf Archer inquires Goblin Slayer of the canary in a cage he has. Goblin Slayer that a canary can detect even the faintest amount of poison underground and since the goblins in the sewers appear to be educated, he expects them to know how to operate the traps of the sewers. As Goblin Slayer helps Priestess jump across a broken bridge, the latter recalls Sword Maiden's statement about how Goblin Slayer will surely disappear.
