Full Summary[]
While his party deals with the goblins, Goblin Slayer engages combat with Dark Elf. The latter begins introducing himself, but he is provoked when Goblin Slayer states his disinterest and that the Goblin Lord was more troublesome. Dark Elf proves to be a nimble fighter, and Goblin Slayer concludes that he is a high-level caster. Seeing that Goblin Slayer remained undaunted, Dark Elf uses his cursed relic to sprout five large arms from his back, allowing him to attack several more times. When High Elf Archer fires an arrow, a white hand emerges to catch and break it. Dwarf Shaman realizes that Dark Elf had summoned the arms of a monster whose ability was to deflect arrows, which High Elf Archer recalls from a story told by her grandfather. When Goblin Slayer switches his club for a sword, Dark Elf haughtily asks him if he imagined switching weapons would grant him an advantage. Goblin Slayer replies in the negative, but states he imagines it would let him kill him.
