Full Summary[]
Goblin Slayer charges toward Dark Elf, but is unable to land a hit. However, Priestess casts Holy Light to blind Dark Elf and allows Goblin Slayer to slash his torso. When Dark Elf suddenly collapses, Goblin Slayer reveals that the blade he used was coated with the same poison Rhea Scout used. As a last resort, Dark Elf prepares to fire another Disintegrate spell; Priestess is exhausted, High Elf Archer's arrows continue to be deflected, and Dark Elf is outside Dwarf Shaman's range for Stone Blast. Realizing that Dark Elf only had protection against arrows, he throws his throwing knife to lop off Dark Elf's right arm holding the cursed relic. After Goblin Slayer crushes the relic beneath his boot, Dark Elf's arrow protection is removed, and High Elf Archer fires an arrow into Dark Elf's throat. The dying Dark Elf proclaims that Goblin Slayer was the one who thwarted the Evil Sect's ambitions in Water Town, but Goblin Slayer simply states he is Goblin Slayer.
As Sword Maiden allowed them to make use of Priestess' prayer at the Harvest Festival, Hero's party was able to enter the spirit plane to kill Hecatoncheir before it could manifest in the material plane. After reminiscing about her time at the festival, Hero declares she will come again next year, and that means that she has to stop Hecatoncheir. With Sun Flare, Hero brandishes her sword to slay the beast.
As Cow Girl was cleaning Goblin Slayer's ears, High Elf Archer informs the latter of a goblin slaying quest and missing-person case Guild Girl addressed to him. Lizard Priest explains that a large next has formed in the mountains, and Priestess tells him they have already bought equipment. Before Goblin Slayer left, he told her that he researched the meaning of osmanthus flowers and stated they didn't fit him, but Cow Girl disagreed. Once he left, Cow Girl, knowing the flowers represented virtue, humility, true love, and first love, muses that they fit perfectly.
Elsewhere in the mountains, an ominous figure clad in armor prepares to offer sacrifices to the green moon.

- In the light novel, the missing person case is not mentioned and the quest addressed to Goblin Slayer was filed by a villager instead of from Water Town.
- The manga adds an additional scene featuring the goblin paladin.
