Full Summary[]
As Goblin Slayer kills the charging goblins, one goblin catches Priestess' staff. The cleric blinds the goblin with Holy Light for Goblin Slayer to kill, which the latter praises her for after the battle. Goblin Slayer notes that the villagers had no signs of abuse, and that it was unusual for a goblin to abstain from the usual pillaging and raping. After the villagers thank Goblin Slayer, a surviving goblin is seen fleeing; Goblin Slayer directs High Elf Archer to land a non-lethal shot in hopes of spreading an infection throughout the goblin nest.
Later, Priestess and High Elf Archer relax in a hot spring. Priestess mentions that Goblin Slayer should at least relax himself a little, to which High Elf Archer states that he would've spent the rest of his life around goblin slaying if it weren't for the party. When High Elf Archer's origins are brought up, the latter compares her lifespan to an ancient tree and states that she felt like she had to do something. High Elf Archer tells Priestess an event where she curiously followed a floating leaf across a river until it was stopped by a man-made structure, before reciting a song about curiosity. Priestess suggests that if High Elf Archer were born a human, she would wish to be an elf, to which High Elf Archer suggests the opposite for Priestess. After Priestess mentions they should leave, High Elf Archer gripes about how the world doesn't care about what one wants.

- The adventurers save the village, but Goblin Slayer is suspicious of how the goblins left the villagers unharmed and didn't resort to their usual behavior.
