Full Summary[]
The troll proves to be very formidable, but the party's misfortune is made worse when goblins ambush them from behind. One by one, the party members are either slain by the goblins or crushed by the troll, before the final member, the acolyte, is subject to the goblins' whims.
Goblin Slayer's party arrives at the adventurer training center. The dwarven quest-giver informs Goblin Slayer that a previous party taking the same quest had not returned, and that the goblins had been taking their tools. High Elf Archer reminds Goblin Slayer that Priestess was the one in charge of the party, though he adds that he will intervene in the case of an emergency. Priestess assures she'll be counting on them should they have their backs against the wall, while privately admitting that she'd much rather be called incompetent than being responsible for the party's demise.
