- Goblin Slayer and his team reunite with Spearman and Witch and the other rookie adventurers at the Administrative Building.
- Heavy Warrior arrives reporting that the goblins are hiding in wait outside, aimed to laying siege on the area.
- High Elf Archer goes to rally the remaining adventurers outside.
- The male adventurers come up with a plan to locate the source of the goblins using the tunnels.
- Priestess though believes that the goblins true targets are the rookie adventurers who are returning home and thus she decides to separate from the group to save them.
Full Summary[]
Goblin Slayer and his team arrive at the Administrative Building where the surviving rookie adventurers are holed up. They are met by Spearman and Witch there, along with High Elf Archer. Goblin Slayer deduces that the goblin attacks encompasses the entire training grounds, putting the adventurers in a dire situation as while they have a defense in the building, it won't hold out due to the building being unfinished. The group need more experience fighters, but sadly are lacking as they have a few veterans and a few skilled rookies.
Heavy Warrior arrives and reports that the goblins are hiding in the dark biding their time around the area. Though Heavy Warrior believes that he, Goblin Slayer and Spearman will take whatever the goblins can throw at them. Even Goblin Slayer thinks that they need to hurry. Witch suggests that their best course of action is to stick together. High Elf Archer goes to find any other surviving adventurers and have then regroup at the Administrative Building.
Heavy Warrior deduces that have more than ten fighters, including the novices, on their side against the goblins. He then asks Goblin Slayer what could they expect from the goblins, to which Goblin Slayer replies that they might either be dealing with a lord or even a shaman. He reasons only such individuals would give the other goblins the idea to tunnel into the training grounds and launch an attack. Heavy Warrior sees that they will have to kill all the goblins out in the training grounds before going into the nest.
As for where they are coming from, Lizard Priest does not believe they are coming from one single tunnel, so they will need to locate the source. Dwarf Shaman thinks all the tunnels are connected through a main route. He suggests they all split up and each take a tunnel to track down the main one. Some of the rookies in the building are seen panicking, and Witch asks her colleagues what the should so with those unable to fight. Heavy Warrior volunteers to stay behind while Spearman and Witch go with Goblin Slayer's team.
Priestess, watching them create their plan, is in awe of how quickly they devised one all due to their experience as adventurers. She feels shame at being unable to contribute, having anxiety and unsure what to say. With some difficulty Priestess asks about the rookies that had already left, and thinks that the goblins may attack them. Given goblins and their scheming Priestess would not put it past them to use the goblin army to distract the seasoned adventurers from protecting the rookies.
Goblin Slayer thinking on this realizes that she is correct. Priestess begs her peers to let her go after the other rookies. The other adventurers are split on whether they should divide their forces just when they are going to invade the domain of the enemy. Though Goblin Slayer vouches for her. Heavy Warrior then plans to stay at the Administrative Building to defend it and the injured rookies. While the rest of the adventurers head into the tunnels to destroy their nest.
