Major Events[]
- The adventurers drive the goblins deeper into the caverns thanks to Lizard Priest’s Dragon’s Roar.
- All the rookie adventurers retreat to head back to town while the more season adventurer remain behind to finish the goblins.
- At Goblin Slayer’s instruction, Dwarf Shaman uses Tunnel to flood the caverns and drown the goblins.
- Above ground the adventurers take in the victory before heading out to eliminate the remaining goblins on the surface.

Wizard Boy unleashes his own devasting spell of Crescunt, sending a loud voice that shocks the goblins and his allies. Goblin Slayer orders Dwarf Shaman to help him make a hole in the cavern. But first they need to frighten the goblins to go deeper into the caves. Lizard Priest uses Dragon's Roar to drive the goblin horde into the cavern. Though the goblins retreat is only a temporary measure and thus High Elf Archer asks what Goblin Slayer has in mind. He replies that he intends to use the lake which is located above ground.
Meanwhile, Wizard Boy is watching the retreating goblins flee in panic. The spellcaster harboring a deep hatred towards the goblins finds it unacceptable for them to escape and settles to eliminating the stragglers as they must pay for their crimes especially against his sister. Priestess, however, signals everyone that they are all pulling back and returning to town. The rest of the rookie adventurers are fine with this order, happy to return home.
Wizard Boy is distracted from his bloodlust when Rhea Fighter congratulates his for his work, and then she guides him out of the cavern. Now outside the cavern, Wizard Boy finally has a cool head and understands that their goal was not to kill all the goblins but to get everyone back safe. And while he admits he would have felt better after killing all the goblins, he acknowledges that he is no Goblin Slayer as he follows the rookies back to town.
Dwarf Shaman casts Tunnel, create a passage directing the water from the lake to flood the underground cavern drowning the goblins. Spearman points out that while this takes care of the goblin threat, they are no unable to follow the caverns to the nest. For extra measure, Witch recommends casting ice magic to seal the tunnels to keep the goblins from using the tunnel again. All that is left now is to find the above ground nest and destroy it,
Spearman, exhausted, lets his colleagues handle that part of the task as he takes a break. The remaining veteran adventurers then head out to complete the last part of the mission. Lizard Priest expresses surprise that goblin Slayer knew that there was a lake above them while in the cavern, and asks if he was familiar with the area. Goblin Slayer confirms he was, a long time ago,
