- They attack the goblins upriver using a decoy boat, allowing Goblin Slayer to get the drop on them ashore.
Full Summary[]
Sword Maiden is seen attempting to decipher the tablets brought by Goblin Slayer and his team, but so far is unable to determine what they say. Regardless, she decides that she needs to contact the King and Chief of the Elves. She feared that the world would soon be faced with a very powerful foe that could destroy the world. However, she had hope that if he can save the people, then they can save the world.
Back at the elf village, Cow Girl bids goodbye to Goblin Slayer who is going on an expedition with his team to investigate possible goblins upstream of the river. After saying their goodbyes, Goblin Slayer leaves Cow Girl in the care of Guild Girl.
The adventurers meeting at the river, are boarding a boat which they fortified to protect them from attack. Forest Princess' fiancé lends his magic to speed the adventurers to their destination. Before they depart, the elf gifts Goblin Slayer an elixir passed down by the elves. He asks the human to look after his sister-in-law and also informs him that news from Water Town reached the elves and that the elders are deliberating. Though the elf has little information on what is going on, he warns Goblin Slayer to be careful.
Later, two goblins guarding upstream spot the boat of the adventurers. They call their allies and goblin archers rain down arrows on the two figures on the boat. Goblin Slayer, appearing on the shore behind the attackers, begins to ruthlessly slaughter them. It's revealed that the boat was a decoy, manned by Dragon Tooth Warriors summoned by Lizard Priest who then joins Goblin Slayer in hunting down the goblins ashore.
