Welcome to Goblin Slayer Wiki! This page is a set of guidelines to help keep articles organized and formatted in a consistent manner.

Articles which don't meet these guidelines for the most part should be marked with a {{Cleanup}} tag.

General

  • Articles should be written in American English, as the official English translation uses such.
    • Instances such as "dialogue", "monologue" and so on are an exception.
  • Articles should be written from a neutral and unbiased perspective.
  • Speculation and ambiguous information are not allowed in articles. Reference if needed.
  • Character chronologies and light novel/manga/anime summaries should be written in past tense.
    • Chronologies should be written as if they take place in the Goblin Slayer universe. As such, sentences such as "In Chapter X" or "In Episode X" should be avoided.

Names

General

  • The characters are referred by their specific professions and jobs as stated in the official English translation of the light novel. Unless referred to as otherwise, their professions/jobs are also their names.
    • Therefore, characters should be referred like this:
      • Priestess has blue eyes.
    • NOT this:
      • The Priestess has blue eyes.
  • Any character articles whose names are inferred or speculative (in other words, unofficial) should be marked with a {{Conjecture}} tag at the top.

Trivia

What does not count as trivia:

  • Speculation.
  • Information that can be deduced from observation of the subject (e.g. plot details)
  • Previously stated information (appearance, personality, etc.)
