Minstrel is a Bard who left the Capital for the Frontier to better.

Appearance[]

Minstrel is a young woman with light hair, a small build, and goes barefoot befitting her Rhea lineage. She is lightly armored in a small tunic dress with a midriff, fingerless long gloves, a small scarf, and keeps in a small turban like headgear.

Personality[]

Minstrel has a passion for the arts and storytelling, understanding her line of work is used to record great deeds and inspire others. She takes the job very seriously, and pours herself into research and crafting the perfect ways to apply metaphor and analogy to her poems and songs. Her skills being so highly regarded, the Bards Association in the Capital contracted her to adapt plays. Minstrel also understood the need for a change in perspective to further her creativity instead of growing complacent.

That being said, her passion can cause her to become confrontational when her work is not adapted or understood properly. Granted, Minstrel understands the average person doesn't understand most nuisances, but she gets extremely upset when the individuals in her field do not.

Chronology[]

Year One Volume 4[]

After complaining about how the Bard Association completely bungled one of her adapted plays, Minstrel left the Association and decided she needed a change of environment to expand her creativity. After discussing with a Guild Receptionist, Minstrel decided to hire an Adventurer to take her to the Western Frontier.

Arriving at the Frontier's Guild Hall, Minstrel requested a Quest from Inspector inquiring about up and coming Adventurers for inspiration. Inspector informed her of a lone-wolf styled Adventurer making a name for himself helping the poor Frontier Villages for minimal to no reward, the Goblin Slayer. Entranced, Minstrel requested to meet Goblin Slayer and informed him of her plans to shadow him on a few quests, so she could make more songs and ballads about his quests. She was then shocked to see Goblin Slayer runaway instantly.

Not to be outdone by Goblin Slayer's reluctance, Minstrel found a way to shadow him on his next quest escorting the Minotaur Warrior to her destroyed home village. During the coach ride, Minster bore witness to Goblin Slayer's abilities and cleverness against Goblins, and his compassion towards others reassuring her desire to write about him. While inspecting the abandoned village, Minotaur's injuries caused her to pass out and Minstrel used herself as bait to lead the Goblins away from her, which prompted Goblin Slayer into action.
