The Viking Chieftain is the new leader of the Vikings and husband of the Húsfreya.

The Viking Chieftain is a tall, well-built young man with shoulder-length red hair, despite his wife's pleas he hasn't grown a beard.

Wild and Fiery, the Viking Chieftain fits in well with his chosen people, the Vikings.
Chronology[]
Background[]
The Viking Chieftain was born in the North, but he was forced to flee as a boy when his father started a "Blood Feud". His family was taken in by a noble family in the Kingdom. There, his older sister became the mistress of the Lord of the House, and thus, he became the "Uncle" to the boy his age and his younger sister, much to their confusion.
Years later, having become a knight, his "nephew" rising to King, the Chieftain returned to the Northern regions to help fight against the Demon invasions. During his battles, he met the Húsfreya, daughter of the previous Viking King, or "Konungr", and the two fell in love and married. Thanks to his martial prowess, the Vikings chose him as the new Chieftain as well as the new Konungr. This alliance convinced the Vikings to join his former homeland as a vassal state.
Sometime later, the Viking Chieftain sent word back to his homeland to send Adventurers to his territory so that they could help him establish an Adventurer's Guild in the North.
Goblin Slayer Volume 14[]
After a "bride-taking" raid, Goblin Slayer and his Party arrived as envoys from his homeland, and he went on to greet them warmly as he tried to help Priestess and High Elf Archer get over their severe culture shock at the Viking's rather unconventional customs. Afterwards, he showed the Party his injured arm that his wife was healing.
Abilities & Equipment[]
In battle, the Viking Chieftain uses a greatsword and is bolstered by his wife's Miracles in a tough spot. Working together with his wife can grant him a magical armor of lightning.

- Greatsword: As a trained knight and a man of Viking descent, the Chieftain's weapon of choice is a large greatsword.
