- — Year One Chapter 27's official description.
Full Summary[]
While dissecting the dead goblins, Arc Mage confirms that there are no female goblins. Goblin Slayer allows her to continue the dissection, as it was a better option than having to defend himself holding both the prisoner and a dead goblin. After glancing at a discarded saddle, Arc Mage hypothesizes that goblins learned how to ride animals based on the fact that living things adapted to their environments; even suggesting that hobgoblins were the result of goblins wandering alone rather than in groups. Arc Mage then suggests that he study goblins as a way of helping him hunt, but Goblin Slayer refuses. He states that doing so would mean letting goblins destroy villages, and adds that his sister already told him goblins came from the green moon. Arc Mage dismisses the claim as a story made to frighten children or as a joke, but Goblin Slayer bluntly tells her that he wasn't laughing.
As Goblin Slayer and Arc Mage leave with the captive, Arc Mage comments that to travel is to travel together, but she adds that they weren't going to the same place.
Major Events[]
- Arc Mage and Goblin Slayer talk about goblins.
