Full Summary[]
To Guild Girl's chagrin, Inspector figures out that Guild Girl was upset seeing Goblin Slayer spend a lot of time with Arc Mage, someone she knew little about. However, Inspector tells her that there is more to them than being receptionists, and that it was fine to fall in love with somebody.
Goblin Slayer leaves the farmhouse despite not having breakfast or lunch. Attempting to remember her childhood, Cow Girl can only recall how her village looked when she took a trip to the city, the argument she had with Goblin Slayer, and the empty coffins of the parents she barely remembers. Wondering what to do for Goblin Slayer, Cow Girl remembered leaving the village a day after arguing with him, but she struggled to remember everything else about her childhood. Upon remembering her uncle's guess that Goblin Slayer was spending time with whores, the flustered Cow Girl ran to the well to wash her face. Along the way, she noticed that the fence was fixed and figured that her uncle fixed it.
Goblin Slayer arrives at Arc Mage's hovel to deliver her apple cider and goblin excrement. He requests a reward, so Arc Mage directs him to take one of the magic scrolls piled up nearby. Goblin Slayer is told to have a magic user in town identify the scroll for him, though before he leaves, he notices that the ring on her finger seemed to burn from within. After meeting up with Witch, the latter identifies the magic scroll as a Gate Scroll that he could to travel anywhere. She warns him not to use it thoughtlessly, and adds that he had to have a destination written on the scroll before he could use it. As he did not have the skill to write the destination, Goblin Slayer asks Witch to keep it for him. Witch then tells him it might take a while, as she was about to have a date.
