Full Summary[]
As Spearman and Witch went over their quest to slay a warlock, the latter asked him why he always talked to her. In response, Spearman brought up her appearance as well as her proficiency with magic. When prompted for anything else, Spearman told her about how she went with him to take Cow Girl's quest despite the meager reward, which gave him the impression that she was a good person. Witch is hesitant to believe she could be considered as such, but Spearman tells her the fact that he appreciates her appearance, abilities, and heart had to have made her happy.
Witch's Silence spell prevents the warlock from casting his magic, enabling Spearman to decapitate him. After stumbling across the shattered remains of petrified goblins, the two are ambushed by a large bird-like creature.
