Full Summary[]
Goblin Slayer reflects on his need to kill goblins as a detached an unpleasant emotion not like anger or hatred, but simply a boiling urge needing to ignite. He eliminates many of the goblins, the last of whom attempt to escape by flinging mud at his visor. Fortunately, Goblin Slayer dispatches the fleeing goblin by throwing a dagger.
He then investigates the shed for any other goblins, but concludes the four goblins killed were the only ones after turning up nothing. Goblin Slayer muses that even the villagers could have fought them off, but he immediately shakes off the thought as pointless. After hiding the bodies in the shed and the bloodstains with dirt, a sudden earthquake occurs in the area. Goblin Slayer is momentarily intrigued, but he ultimately decides nothing was more worthy of his attention than goblins.
