Full Summary[]
Noticing Guild Girl being rather happy, Inspector teases her for her overt eagerness to see Goblin Slayer. She then brings up topic of the latter's promotion, and doubts whether exclusively slaying goblins would come without problems. Suddenly, the senior guild receptionist comes to the front desk and asks to speak with Guild Girl, her old colleague, elsewhere. Once the two leave, Inspector notices Goblin Slayer taking a goblin quest, correctly guessing that he was the reason for the senior's appearance.
During the inquiry, Guild Girl is intimidated by her senior's demeanor, comparing the feeling to being a frog stared down by a snake. She remembers her for being proper, refined and for never demeaning or making fun of her, but figures this was why she found her hard. The senior finds no problems with Guild Girl's evaluation, but has an issue with how Goblin Slayer has not demonstrated any skills other than goblin slaying. In response, Guild Girl elaborates that despite only slaying goblins, he remains a valuable and dedicated adventurer has helped many people. The senior assures Guild Girl she was made aware of that from her evaluation, and clarifies that she was only testing to see if Goblin Slayer's promotion had any merit. Inspector then enters the room to alert the senior of Goblin Slayer's presence, but Guild Girl convinces the senior to hold off their meeting until tomorrow to allow him some rest. The senior asks Guild Girl to make themselves tea, and Guild Girl asks Inspector for her secret stash of snacks.
