Full Summary[]
Breaking free from his confines, Goblin Slayer manages to kill four goblins, but narrowly misses the jaws of a warg. He sees another approaching group of goblins, and realizes they had intended on using him to bait out his examiner in a surprise attack. Goblin Slayer is satisfied with thwarting their ambush, as it would enable the receptionist to save the village and summon reinforcements. Content with a suicidal last stand, Goblin Slayer attempts to shield himself against a charging warg only to be rendered prone. The warg moves to bite him, but the receptionist shows up at the last moment to kill the goblin riding the warg as well as incapacitate the warg itself. She praises Goblin Slayer for surviving this long, and tells him to leave the rest of the goblins to her.
